Fire Stats

Training Center

The Monroeville Public Safety Training Center (MPSTC) began construction in 2002 to assist with the training of local public safety personnel. Located at 2465 Johnson Road, the MPSTC is a state of the art training facility providing a local training ground for the areas police, fire, and EMS members.

So far, the MPSTC has partnered with the FBI, CCAC, Allegheny County Fire Academy and many others to provide quality instructional classes. The MPSTC has the following facilities available for usage:

  • State of the art classroom with full multimedia system
  • 4 bay garage for storage
  • Large EVOC area for drivers training
  • 4 story training building with 2 live burn rooms
  • 3 concrete pads for vehicle extrication
  • Drafting pits for fire pumping and drafting
  • Firing Range
