Companies
5 and 6 were dispatched to the Parkway East inbound
in the area of the Thompson Run overpass for a reported
motor vehicle rollover accident with vehicle on
fire. A58 along with E51 arrived on scene to find
a single vehicle that had rolled over onto a hillside
with the patient ejected who was in the care of
a local ambulance service. R6 and E61 arrived shortly
afterwards and finding no work to be done, was returned
by command a short time later.

In
the mid-afternoon, Companies 5 and 6 were dispatched
to the Community College of Allegheny County: Boyce
Campus for a reported brush fire. E51 arrived to
report a moderate sized brush fire up against the
building and after establishing a water supply,
began to extinguish the fire. E61 arrived to assist
crews with operations while Tanker 5 and Medic 69
stood by. Once the fire was out, command released
Company 6.

Goldenson Memorial Jam

Station
6 to say thanks to all that attended the Lou Goldenson
Memorial Jam that took place this past weekend.
Everyone enjoyed some good food, great music, but
most of all, some good memories of our friend Louie
along with making some good fundraising money!
